Rachel Harper

I was born and raised in northern Tasmania, and having travelled the world am proud to still call our beautiful state home.

As a local, my innate understanding of Tasmania's lifestyle and property market has been a driving force behind my success in real estate, along with an ability to streamline business practices through simplified systems and procedures.

After starting out in 2005, I quickly saw the need for a boutique real estate business that raised the bar on how properties in the state were marketed, and in 2011 co-founded what was to become One Agency Launceston with my husband Dean and parents-in-law, Peter and Liz Harper.

From humble beginnings, the agency has now grown to a team of 17 people and is one of Australia's most successful property businesses as winner of the 2016 REIA Best Small Agency Award.

The arrival of two adorable children in recent years - Austin, 6, and Stella, 3 - has seen me juggling the duties of stay-at-home mum while continuing to work behind the scenes on the company's development and operations.

One Agency Launceston continues to flourish under directors Dean and Peter, and Josh Hart, and I am delighted to be returning now to join them on the front line in furthering our vision for the future.
