Bombala Literary Institute, aka 'School of Arts' is located in Caveat Street, Bombala NSW. It is currently open to expressions of interest. The facia of this building is quite distinctive, the rest is a brick and wood structure, it dates from 1865 and is heritage listed. When you walk around the building you can feel the history. The building is in need of repair and the current owner is looking for someone to take on the challenge. Buildings like these are rare in country towns and the Literary Institute holds many memories for the locals. The original stage overlooks the Auditorium.
